Prior to starting D2 Consulting in 2012, Darrell was Chief Operations Officer with OttLite, a leading lamp, fixture, and lighting system that specializes in solutions that bring true colors and details to bear as compared to traditional incandescent bulbs. Before OttLite, Darrell was the General Manager and Vice President of Global Key Accounts and Market Development, as part of the Consumer and Office Business at 3M. During these tenures, Darrell has proven himself as an astute, results-oriented leader with proven success in leading, guiding, growing, and turning around $500MM+ businesses and customer-based product operations. His significant background includes an unprecedented growth agenda and results, productivity and supply-chain efficiency, and the ability to lead people to think differently. Darrell is a critical leader and thinker with a strong analytics background and he has proven himself as an adept negotiator who can apply extensive knowledge of industry and government regulation to drive rapid revenue and profit growth opportunities.

He earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Notre Dame, and he has been recognized as a Certified Black Belt Champion in Six Sigma and an Effie Award winner.
